Social Value International is building a movement to transform the way organisations account for value, make decisions and achieve social goals. One important way it does this is by developing and promoting a principles-based approach. As a membership organisation, it takes pride in its work to collaboratively create standards and guidance for applying each Principle.
Its Methodology Sub-Committee has just produced draft standards and guidance for applying Principle 5 (Do not overclaim) and a new Principle 8 (Be responsive). These are now out for consultation, with publication expected in October. The views of Social Value Ireland members (https://www.socialvalueireland.ie/join) are wanted!
